What is your job position and how would you define it?
I am a global study manager. I am responsible for the overall planning and operational activities for the implementation and conduct of international clinical studies. I am coordinating a global and local clinical team to successfully carry out a clinical trial. I am also involved in the review and validation of essential documents for clinical trials and in the assessment and mitigation of the various risks associated with the clinical trial or the product.

What are some current and future challenges or trends impacting your area of expertise?
We communicate and collaborate with people from all around the world on a daily basis, which implies constant flexibility, adaptability and required international communication skills. As digital technology is more and more present in our day-to-day work, we also need to be able to adapt to change and to new technologies and tools.

How do you imagine the future of the Life Sciences industry?
We are always trying to anticipate and understand patient needs across our different projects, and I think AI will play an important role in the future. This will enable us to automate certain tasks to save time and bring products to market sooner so they can be distributed to patients all around the world.
